This Privacy Policy explains how Electrician Practice Tests (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit electricianpracticetests.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you consent to the practices described here.

Information you provide. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a hashed value). If you contact us, we collect what you choose to send (name, email, message).

Quiz attempts and progress. When you take a practice test, we record your answers, score, time taken, and the questions you saw. If you are signed in, this data is associated with your account so you can review it later. If you are not signed in, in-progress attempts are saved to your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to our servers until you submit.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and measure usage.

2. How we use information

  • To operate the Site and grade your practice tests.
  • To save your progress and let you review past attempts.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • To analyze usage and improve the Site and the question bank.
  • To comply with applicable law.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function (for example, signed-in session cookies). We also use analytics and advertising cookies as described below; you can control these through the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit and at any time via the consent settings.

4. Third-party advertising and Google AdSense

We may serve advertising on the Site, including via Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other websites. 6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

In-progress quiz attempts saved to your browser's local storage automatically expire after 7 days of inactivity. You can delete your account and associated quiz history at any time by contacting us.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, object to processing of, and port your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have rights to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary value.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries with data-protection laws different from your jurisdiction. By using the Site you consent to such transfers as permitted by law.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
